Our annual wild game dinner is going to be an amazing time. This year we will do things a little different. Here are a few of the activities and highlights...

Wild Game Dish Contest:

If you hunt and cook then this will be a great time of cooking up your favorite wild game dish and let us all be the judge. The winner will receive a "bragging rights" trophy that you can take home and flaut it in front of your family and friends.

Gene Hoyt

When it comes to experience and true achievement as an outdoorsman, Gene Hoyt is a master of his craft. A World Champion Turkey Caller (Natural Voice), a two-time National King of Champions Turkey Caller, two-time National Champion, and three-time Louisiana State Champion—Gene has over 37-years experience as a hunter and outdoorsman.
As the co-owner of Crossland Calls and a successful seminar speaker, he has been featured in Louisiana Sportsman and Louisiana Game & Fish Magazines and has appeared in three videos—Boss Busters by Indian Archery, Making Memories by Pittman Game Calls and Spring Tradition by Crossland Game Calls. He is an avid deer and turkey hunter and videographer.
In addition to his many turkey calling championships and competition titles, he is a five-time Louisiana State Owl Hooting Champion and two-time Southeast Texas Owl Hooting Champion.
He is a devoted husband of over 26 years to his wife Karen and their two children and three grandchildren. Gene is also passionate about his faith and shares his compassion for others and his commitment to Jesus Christ at hunting seminars all across the nation.

David Fortenberry

In addition to being an avid hunter and president of Crossland Game Calls and Ministry, David is the pastor of Fair River Baptist Church. He oversees the administration of Team Crossland and shares his love of the outdoors and love of Jesus Christ in hunting seminars all across the country.

This will be a great time for you to bring any of your wild game and fish trophies and showcase them for other hunters and fisher to see. Along with every trophy is a story so you can bring your trophies and tell your story along with them. (each man is responsible for his own trophy RLM is not liable for damage)
