God is a God of eternity, the alpha and omega, the beginning and end. So if God is a God that is always and forever should the covenants He makes, be forever? When God does make a covenant it is firm and unshakeable. In an age where commitments and promises are seldom kept God reassures us that His covenant of love is always and forever. His love for us never wavers or changes. Even when we are faithless He is faithful. His love for us is not dependent upon our performance but that of His son Jesus.

 

The New Orleans Saint’s NFC Championship win and subsequent Super Bowl win has launched them into a brand new day. What has happened in the past is of little consequence to their new day. God has called His Church into a brand new day, however she has to learn to get past her “good old days”, realize that tomorrow never comes and all we are guaranteed is today. Listen as Pastor Todd outlines these points and more as he relates the new day the Saints are in to a greater day God wants His church to step into.
