  • This Week: Carrying Burdens
  • Last week: The Seed of Words

I’ve got problems, you’ve got problems; we’ve all got problems. Sounds kind of harsh and uncaring doesn’t it? Well, the fact is that we all have problems or burdens to carry. The question is are we carrying the right burden. Many of us take on burdens or problems that we were never meant to carry. And in so doing we bring on ourselves pain, hurt, sorrow, misdirection, anger, frustration and more that God never intended for us to have. All because we carry burdens that we were never meant to carry or we don’t unload those burdens onto the shoulders of the king of our life, Jesus who is more than capable of carrying the burdens.

Within the clutches of our tongue we hold the fate of the world. Life itself literally hangs on the tip of our tongue. Wow, sound kind of strong doesn’t it? But that’s exactly what the Bible says we have. In Proverbs 18:21 it says that “death and life are in the power of the tongue.” Everyday we have a choice. Sow seeds of life or sow seeds of death. Like it or not we are all sowers the question is what kind of seeds are we sowing? Listen as Pastor Allen talks about the seeds of Words and their affect on the world around us.
