  • This Week: Receiving Fear
  • Last week:Father's Day

Fear is simply not of God. It says that we don’t trust God to do what He said He would do. The opposite of love isn’t hate but fear. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us that, “God has not given us a spirit of fear…” However we have a propensity to fear because have been trained by our culture to and of our own human nature. We actual receive fear, just as we would receive a gift, though we may not realize what we are doing, that’s exactly what we are doing. Pastor Allen points out six things that fear does and what it brings. He also shares what we must do to not receive fear and how we can overcome fear.

A father has much to give to his children however his children have much to give to him also. What they give back to him is greatly dependent upon what he pours into their life as He trains and raises them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Children are an inheritance and we will leave them with whatever we as fathers give them: the good, bad or ugly. And that is the number one question: “What are we leaving them with?” Listen as guest speaker Dan Hall outlines just what fathers are suppose to leave their children and what they will get in return.
