Twenty years and counting. That’s how old Resurrection Life Worship Center is. This Easter as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ we also celebrate the 20th anniversary of RLM. It was April 1989 that 13 people met for the first time in the home of James and Tish Hickman and began what is now Resurrection Life. Today we have well over 2000 people that call RLM home. There have been many things we have learned along the way and Pastor Allen Hickman shares 5 of those this week in the messages entitled “Lessons we have learned” Life can be extremely taxing and hard at times. To the point that the dreams and desires God placed deep within you beginning to fade and you are at the place of giving up and settling. However God has provided for us victory. We are guaranteed to win we simply have to run the race. We are all in a race, the race of life, but only one will win, run in such a way that you win. Why, because you do. God has made sure that you will by virtue of the death of His son and our savior Jesus. All we have to do is run. Run to win. |
