Every parent loves to give gifts to their children. At Christmas time, their birthdays, special occasions and sometimes for no reason at all. However many parents are giving their children curses instead of blessings. How? In the way the parents, live their lives. Every parent is giving their children something the question is, is it blessings or curses. If we begin now as parents to follow after the heart of God and listen to the Holy Spirit as He speaks into our lives we will begin to give our children blessings and stop the generational cycle of passing down the blight of a generation living for itself. The family is more than a unit of people living under the same roof. It was birthed in the heart of God as the building block of all of mankind’s relationships. From the family society is formed and influenced, negatively or positively. How it affects society is dependent upon how healthy your family is. The influence of a mother is probably the most influential relationship that anyone could ever have right along with the father’s influence. In today’s American society stay home moms and wives are look down upon as a woman selling out to the husband’s dream. However God has a completely different perspective on it.
