Sin has just about become a mute point in today society and unfortunately in the American Church as well. However God’s view on Sin is very clear and acutely strong in His Word. Because He loves us and is relentless in His pursuit of us He doesn’t want us to experience the destruction and death that Sin will always bring. He has seen the affects of sin first hand with His son Jesus and what it cost Him to ransom all of mankind from the clutches of the enemy. Listen as Pastor Allen discusses the Theology of Sin Each one of us as Christians and lovers of Jesus Christ have a birthright. This is a right given to us by the Father at the time of our new birth. Not because we deserve it or that we have done anything to earn it. Given to us simply because of the grace, mercy and kindness of the Father. The sons, in the story of the prodigal son, had a birthright bestowed upon them, by their father. However each one saw their birthright in a completely different perspective than the other. One took what the father promised and wasted it on “riotous” living, while the other stayed home and did nothing with it. Who’s to blame in the story? Both, because they had access to all that the Father had but used or didn’t use it the way the Father intended.
