Salvation, Provision, Forgiveness, Restorer, Healer, Good Shepherd, these are names and attributes of Jesus Christ but He is more than just a Name. A babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger, the epitome of humility that has become iconic over the past two thousand years. But He is also more than just a child. Jesus is much more than the sum of all His parts. He is truly the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The alpha and omega, the first and last. Listen as Pastor Richard Hinojosa teaches that Jesus is much more than a child and more than a name. Everybody gets discouraged, weary and worn at some point in their, lifetime. However being that way should not be a way of life for those of us who are lovers of Jesus Christ. God has provided by His Spirit a way of living above the discouragement, weariness and fatigue. Zechariah tells us in verse six of chapter four that it is “not by might nor by power but by My Spirit.” In a world of individualism and self-made men it would seem proper to depend on your own strength and power to find the road out of discouragement and weariness. Yet, we know it would only come full circle and we would end up in discouragement and weariness again. Why, because we don’t possess the power to heal ourselves. That is why God told us it’s not by our power but by the power His Spirit that we will be healed. Listen as Pastor Allen not only speaks the word of God but a word from God. |
