Living life alone is not only boring but extremely dangerous. Why, because everyone of us need each other and without each other we are susceptible to the attach of the enemy. We are to be there for each other to protect and provide for. To have preconceived ideas of who God is and what God does is like putting God in a box. However, we all know that God is too big to be confined to a box. We as the church many times try and put God in a box with our thoughts and ideas that we have developed over the years, ideas and thoughts that are not biblical and that could cost us much if we continue to try and confine God. Guest speaker and Pastor Howie Hugo from Monterry, California outlines how the nation of Israel suffered because they thought God could be confined to the Ark of the Covenant a simple box made of wood and gold. The power was not in the box but God Himself. |
