Trials are simply a part of life. They are like the air we breathe vital and necessary. Without them we will cease to learn and grow. Nobody likes them but everybody has them. The question is; how will we let the trials of life affect us. Trials help us grow but also reveal two things about us; our true core beliefs and who and what is our true refuge. There will always be a sifting before a shifting. If we desire change we must go through a sifting in our lives before God institutes a shift. The sifting will always lead to a deeper and more intimate relationship with God.
Fear is a great tool of the enemy. And he has kept many a Christian in a constant state of being paralyzed immobilizing them and thus they don’t live and move in all that God has provided and ordained for them. The Israelites were a people who were dismayed and frightened many times in their long history but however the Church of today can learn a valuable lesson from them. God proved Himself faithful over and over to Israel and time a time again they would doubt and become dismayed and turn to foreign gods. The lesson learned is that God is always faithful and thus we have no reason to fear and be dismayed. For even when we are faithless He remains faithful. |
