To remember those who have gone before is more than simply talking about their sacrifice and all they gave up to ensure that we have freedom. But it is to live a life that is worthy of their sacrifice. It is to earn all that they died for us to have. It is to live a life worthy of the calling that we have received from God Himself, a life that brings honor to His and their name. May we honor those who fought and laid down their life to guarantee that we could be all that we should be.
The next generation will only be as good as this generation sows into it. The Word of God says that, “whatsoever a man sows so shall he reap.” If we are to see the godly principles and beliefs instilled in our children and their children we must understand the importance of the next generation. If we do we will not live for ourselves, serving our own wishes, wants, and whims but we will give all that we are and have learned to the next generation making it better than this generation. Pastor Allen finishes a 5 part series of RLM’s DNA and core values with this powerful and strong word for the current generation, so that it can affect the next. |
