We have been searching for our identity since we were teenagers. Most people spend a lifetime trying to “find themselves.” However, we as Christians have found our life in Christ we have also have found our identity in Him. This mystery of identity is really no mystery at all when we come to the fullness of knowing Jesus through His resurrection, life, crucifixion and in all His glory. Why, because we now find who we are in who He is in us. Christ in you the hope of glory.
King David in Psalms 61 tells of how He would sing praises unto God no matter the circumstances. In Revelation chapter three it talks about the doors that God opens and shuts. There is a door that has been opened that no man can shut because it has been opened by God Himself. That door is the door of praise and worship. In the midst of trials and turmoil we have an open door that we can step through and into the awesome presence of God. Bringing peace, hope and life. Pastor Allen shows us how those two scriptures tie into each other and how they are to be applied to our everyday life. |
