The Word of God, the Bible is quick and powerful but so are the words that we speak. Proverbs tells us that “death and life are in the power of the tongue.” We can speak faith or we can speak unbelief. The power of testimony is an undeniable force in the Kingdom of God. To testify is translated from the Hebrew root which means to repeat or do over. When we begin to make testimony of what God has done in our lives and who He is faith rises up within us as we “re-live” what God has done. The Word of God is more than words written down on paper that sound good or inspire you in time of need. No, it is the very words from God mouth to His people. The Bible say of itself in Hebrews 4:12 “the word of God is living and active.” God’s word will accomplish what He sends it out to do. The word really comes alive when you interject it into your life and begin to “flesh” or live out the word. The scriptures become alive in you and through you.
